I founded Zaiwalla & Co in the City of London in 1982. What started then as a niche shipping law practice has now grown into a boutique firm advising governments and multinational businesses on an array of disputes arising under English law.
Zaiwalla & Co is first and foremost a firm of pioneers. From day one, the core values driving its development have been originality of thought, efficiency of approach and professional integrity.
Our international expertise has expanded in line with the firm’s growth. Our earliest days saw us winning landmark shipping cases for the Indian High Commission in London, and now we represent a diverse range of businesses and individuals from the world’s fastest-developing economies. Today, over 90% of our clients are based outside Britain, primarily from Russia and the former Soviet Union, India, China, Latin America and Africa.
